I would to like to share a passage of scripture that God placed on and in my heart during prayer this morning. Would you take a moment and read this passage very carefully?
2 Timothy 3:1-3, "But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. 2 People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good," (NIV)
Our nation has been struck by another tragedy which has led to the deaths of at least 49 people and left many others wounded. These events leave us to wonder, "When will these senseless killings ever end?" Our world is one that is full of despair, discouragement and much anger toward one another. This is the day in which we need a fresh revelation of God's Word and God's Love. I am determined to promote as well as practice both of these principles in my personal life as well as my Ministerial/Pastoral life.
Will you join me in practicing these principles in your life and also ask God to encourage others through your desire to live a life that is pleasing to God?
